About
I'm Daniel Spalding. I've been building and modding electronics for a long time, and every so often I remember to write it up here. That first post was a 20-watt all-in-one PC I put together to record our security cameras; the most recent was retrofitting the radar for adaptive cruise control into a Ford F-150 Lightning.
Most of what I build starts with a specific problem: a projector bulb that quits on a timer, runners that drivers can't see at night, a $20 bench power supply instead of a $100 one. I write the projects up so the next person with the same problem has a head start.
I also run Craft IT, which does computer repair and home and small-office IT in the Portland metro area.
